DOODLE DRAWING therapy

When the world shut down in the spring of 2020, my mental health was in an abysmal place. Without any control or structure whatsoever,

One night, as my kids fell asleep across the hall, I found myself drawing and doodling in bed: clear, straight lines with distinct boundaries, simple patterns, and bright colors. This style of drawing was incredibly therapeutic.

It provided me with visual structure and order, order that I was able to create and order that I desperately needed.

That one night turned into many until it became a part of my bedtime routine. Presently, I continue to doodle at night.
